Travels to tropical countries have been a pursuit for 40 years. Studies in Costa Rica as a graduate student only whetted the appetite to see and experience more of the tropical ecosystem, rapidly being displaced by agrarian demands. Much of the current art work explores these issues in a light hearted way.
