Mixed Media Class Choices Are:
- Press and Paint Workshop where students use the etching presses to make monotypes and then alter them with watercolor, acrylic, inks, watercolor crayons, and collage
- Collage FUN-damentals includes a review of techniques and materials followed by tearing, gluing and alteration. All skill levels are welcome; playfulness and personal exploration are encouraged. Accomplished artists will see how collage can strengthen design or enhance their artwork. A collage kit will be available from the instructor.
- Unleashing Your Creativity is open to all skill levels and will focus on painting as an avenue for discovery. Bring a sense of adventure and abandon the notion that you are not artistic. Choose your media and you will be encouraged to focus on your passions, finding the best pathway for expression. This course is particularly helpful to those wanting to change styles, to those experiencing "artist's block" or to those painters who want to expand into mixed media.
